Iran and Covid 19
Germany issued a worldwide travel warning in March advising against non-essential travel abroad, particularly against travel for tourism purposes. The current warning has been extended to May 3rd. This warning applies for all the countries including Iran. Further information will be announced after April 30th.
Is it safe to travel to Iran in 2020?
Currently, regarding the worldwide spread of COVID-19 disease, traveling to Iran for people in risk groups (people over 60, with heart or lung medical conditions, weak immune system, …) is strongly discouraged.
