Iran is an extremely diverse country regarding cultures, ethnics, history, religions and the society, which makes it difficult to shape a simple overview. On the other hand, the sophisticated economic and political situation in the previous years has made it even more challenging to analyses.

Iran is a far more heterogenic and complex country than is often perceived by international media. On our journeys, we do not aim at offering you a flawless picture of Iran, or an ultimate explanation on it (We believe that no such thing exists!). However, we claim that we create you a journey to the other side of the media cameras to witness the reality from a closer point of view or hear the untold aspects of the stories. This journey empower you to shape your own image of Iran.

2. Active learning, rather than passive listening

We avoid typical guided tours with on the surface tourist information. As Iran experts and residents, we personally accompany you in all our journeys. We provide you with a comprehensive overview of the country’s specific historic, political and socio-economic reality, and then encourage you to look at it from different perspectives. 

The purpose is to empower you to shape your own image of Iran. Further than this, we encourage questions, discussions, and critical reflections to the extent that you wish.

A little slower, a bit closer  

We do not follow the “faster, further, more” trend that common mass tourism encourages. We focus on cultural and regional matters, even if that means to run only a few tours every year. We travel in small group and avoid unnecessary flights or traveling long distances. We aim at minimizing negative impacts on the nature and society.

Group Travels (to Iran or any other country) commonly focus on visiting well-known tourist attractions in famous cities. However, this is not the purpose of our journeys. Every city or region has something more to tell. It is about the story of the people who call it home. 

We connect historic events with real life experiences and local’s voices to get a sense of the life beyond the touristic showcase. Our trips always include meetings, encounters and daily experiences. 

We are Iran experts

Unlike many travel companies, we do not offer tours to several different countries. We are only focused on Iran, and we constantly study, explore, and find new people and places in Iran.

Our knowledge of Iran is not limited to written literature or short trips. Living in Iran ourselves, on one hand, we face the daily life challenges; on the other hand, we enjoy the Iranian sociable friendly lifestyle. We share with you our own lived experiences, as an Iranian local and as a European living in Iran.

We do not outsource our journeys.  We plan every detail of every trip and personally accompany all of our trips.

We work with plenty of locally owned small and medium-size accommodations, restaurants and shops. Moreover, we share our profit with local individuals and agencies that play a role in our journeys. Traveling with us means you directly contribute to the local economy. We believe that small enterprises can exert a major influence on economic and social sustainability.

We connect people and projects

Language barrier, unfamiliar paperwork routines and other issues make it difficult for projects and entities within Iran to find related peers and activities abroad, and vice versa. We connect people and projects working on related topics in Iran and Europe and help them overcome these barriers.
